Environmental responsibility
Bredengen AS is a member of RENAS and MATERIAL RETURNS.
Electrical and electronic products contain health and environmental harmful substances. As an importer/producer of electrical and electronic products, we are therefore required to participate in a return scheme for scrapped products. We cooperate with RENAS-the return company for the industry-to fulfil the so-called EE regulation and prevent the protection of health and environmental harmful substances.
The right choice for environmentally conscious customers
Fulfilment of the EE regulation should be a course requirement when purchasing electrical and electronic products. The EE regulation requires all manufacturers and importers of electrical and electronic products to have a system for the collection and processing of discarded products. We fulfill this requirement through the membership of the RENAS. For us, it is a result of taking responsibility for our own products, but still many companies are outside the returns scheme, without them otherwise complying with the EE regulations. Therefore, your choice of supplier importance to our environment.
Environmental responsibility for own products
Through membership in RENAS, we are helping to fund the nationwide returns scheme for discarded electrical and electronic products. It allows anyone, from private individuals to businesses, to deliver scrapped products free of charge to more than 140 receipts across the country. In addition, dealers and municipal reception also accept the waste. In this way, we work together to prevent pollutants such as lead, PCB, cadmium, mercury, and brominated flame retardants from getting lost.
