Mikrobølge-, Test- og
Målekabler
We have many years of experience developing and producing microwave and test cables matched to the various needs in the field of test and measurement. We deliver anything from standard to custom cables, distinguished by their high performance and stable characteristics.
Our flexible microwave cable assemblies offer superior electrical and mechanical performance for static and dynamic applications. The series is designed to ensure optimal performance up to 67 GHz where high electrical requirements, particularly stability and low loss, are important. The products are ideally suited for testing and measurement applications, and defence systems.
Bredengen also delivers lightweight, advanced variants designed to meet the stringent requirements of space flight (e.g., satellites) and aerospace systems (like planes, helicopters and missiles).
OUR PRODUCT SELECTION INCLUDES:
- Frequency ranges up to 67 GHz
- Test cables for lab use
- Test cables for field use
- Custom cables
- Phase stability
- Matched sets
- Cables with extreme performance (both electric and mechanic)

Microwave cable alternatives
Multiflex microwave cables are the flexible alternative to semi-rigid cables. They are used in commercial and military RF and microwave airborne systems, communication systems, cellular base stations, satellite, ground systems – in brief: anywhere a flexible microwave cable is required.
The S-series is a line of cost-efficient, low loss microwave cables. These versatile cables are characterised by their very low insertion loss across a wide frequency range. S-series cables are easy to assemble and are made of environmentally-friendly, halogen-free materials.
The MINIBEND series is a flexible, preassembled coaxial cable assembly line, designed for internal point-to-point interconnections between RF modules within systems. Allowing bending immediately behind the connector with excellent resistance to flame and corrosion, the series boasts impressive pull strength and mechanical durability. It is 100% tested to ensure the highest quality performance.
Sucoform microwave coaxial cables offer distinct mechanical advantages over semi-rigid cables. They are based on the same design as the standard PTFE insulated semi-rigid cables, but have a tin-soaked copper braid for the outer conductor, giving them outstanding hand-formability. Thanks to their small bending radii, they allow space saving routing and packaging.
The semi-rigid cable is unique in that it is easily bent to the desired finished shape and still maintains its set after bending. This property makes it ideal for use with automated bending equipment, as well as hand forming by bending tools.
