Terminators
Terminators are used to close an open RF port. They are used in a large variety of test and measurement, defence and communication applications.
Terminator types
Coaxial terminators (also called RF loads or dummy loads) are applied to an open end of a transmission line, e.g. an RF port, to prevent the back-reflection of an RF signal.
Feed through terminations are designed to connect 50 ohm transmission lines or RF devices with high impedance test equipment, like an oscilloscope.
