Environmental responsibility

Bredengen AS is a member of RENAS and Green Point Norway. As one of the leading suppliers of communication technology in the market, we take our environmental responsibility very seriously.

Electrical and electronic products contain substances that ae harmful to people’s health and the environment. As an importer/manufacturer of electrical and electronic products, we are thus required to participate in a return scheme for discarded products. We work with RENAS – the recycling company in Norway for commercial electricity – to comply with EE regulations and prevent substances that are harmful to health and the environment from going astray.

The right choice for environmentally conscious customers

Compliance with the EE regulations should be an obvious requirement when purchasing electrical and electronic products. This is because EE regulations require all manufacturers and importers of these products to have a system for collecting and processing discarded products. We meet this important requirement through our membership in RENAS. For us, taking on this responsibility is not only natural, but extremely important to us. However, there are many companies that still do not comply with EE regulations. Your choice of supplier is therefore very important for our environment.

Environmental responsibility for our own products

Through our membership in RENAS, we contribute to financing the nationwide return scheme for discarded electrical and electronic products. It enables everyone, from individuals to companies, to deliver discarded products free of charge to more than 140 receptions across the country. Dealers and municipal receptions also accept the waste. In this way, we work together to prevent environmental toxins such as lead, PCBs, cadmium, mercury, and brominated flame retardants from going astray.
